IEEE ISORC was founded in 1998 (with its first meeting in Kyoto,
Japan) to address research into the
application
of real-time object-oriented distributed technology. Since then,
ISORC has continually evolved to meet the
latest
challenges faced by researchers and practitioners in the real-time
domain, with an emphasis on object-,
component- and service-oriented systems and solutions.
ISORC is a single-track conference, with a lively community. We have
hosted a number of associated workshops,
and are proud of our spirit of openness. We seek to encourage
diverse views and new approaches to all
Real-Time
Issues and Challenges for novel applications and systems in RT
computing issues.
Suitable content and topics fall into the exact same range as for
the main symposium's
list of
topics .
The IEEE ISORC 2025 Dissertation Digest focuses on Ph.D.
dissertations finished recently,
especially within the December 1, 2022, to January 28, 2025, time
frame.
This digest can be considered an extended abstract of the thesis and
must be limited to 4
pages and structured very similarly to a regular paper. All papers
should be submitted in
PDF format, and their title must bear a "DISSERTATION DIGEST"
prefix, which will removed in
the camera ready version.
In addition, this digest needs to add in the text and in the
reference section a reference
to a Web link for the full Ph.D. thesis. Furthermore, the list of
journal, conference, and
workshop papers, published as part of the Ph.D. work, has to be
included in the digest paper's
reference section, too. Note that the authors of a digest will be
only the (former)
student and his/her supervisor(s).
The dissertation digest co-chairs may request evidence of the
defense or approval of
the thesis for each submission before it can be accepted
finally.
Only PDF submissions will be considered for review, and they shall
be uploaded to the
HOTCRP system at: HOTCRP .
Prepare the dissertation digest paper with the maximal length of 6 pages (including all references, figures, and table) - in the English language only - following the IEEE double-column format using the published IEEE Conference Proceeding templates, being available at IEEE templates
All papers should be submitted through HOTCRP. Authors of accepted submissions are required to present their digest within Dissertation Digest sessions of ISORC 2025, if the dissertation digests paper shall be included in the proceedings. Due to IEEE technical sponsorship of ISORC, your final paper is planned to be included in IEEE Xplore for archival value after the conference.
